BIOGRAFIA
GIUSEPPE ZANDA
Nato a Latina nel 1971, vive e lavora a Priverno, nell’entroterra collinare pontino.
Affascinato dai colori e dalla materia nelle sue infinite forme, fin dalla più tenera età ha coltivato
l’amore per la pittura sperimentando sempre nuove tecniche e percorsi, sia autonomamente, sia
seguendo alcuni artisti locali e romani, dai quali ha carpito le fondamentali pratiche pittoriche e la
maniera di osservare e riprodurre solo dopo aver assorbito ciò che l’occhio vede.
A quest’attività ha sempre affiancato la ricerca e l’utilizzo di materiali diversi quali paste vetrose,
resine, stucchi, che utilizza per restauri e per creazioni particolari. Il primo amore resta comunque
quello per i colori, scomposti, filtrati e riproposti continuamente nell’incessante trasformarsi della
luce.
Ha esposto fin dagli anni ’90 in numerose collettive e personali nella propria provincia e regione,
partecipando al contempo a mostre e premi italiani ed internazionali.
Negli ultimi anni ha ricevuto diversi riconoscimenti:
Novembre 2017: Partecipazione Collettiva “Universi d’Arte” con inserimento di cinque opere
in Catalogo dell’Editrice “Pagine”
Novembre 2018: Pesaro Arte e Cultura: Collettiva “Verbumlandiart” consegna dell’Attestato di
Gran Merito
Febbraio 2020: Ricevimento Conferimento del “Premio Internazionale Città di New York 2020 –
RED”
Febbraio 2020: Partecipazione con l’invio di un bozzetto al concorso pubblico per l’esecuzione
del “Palio di Sant’Oliva, indetto dal Comune di Cori (LT)
Febbraio 2020: Conferimento del “Premio della Critica” con ricevimento di Targa in Ceramica,
Attestato e Pubblicazione di un’opera sul periodico d’arte “Art Now” e nota di valutazione dalla
Critica d’Arte Dott.ssa Maria Di Pasquale
Giugno 2020: Ricevimento Conferimento del “Premio Van Gogh 2020”
Agosto 2021: Conferimento del “Premio città di Parigi 2021”
BIOGRAPHY
GIUSEPPE ZANDA
Born in Latina in 1971, he lives and works in Priverno, in the hilly Pontine hinterland.
Fascinated by colors and material in its infinite forms, he has cultivated from an early age
the love for painting always experimenting with new techniques and paths, both independently and
following some local and Roman artists, from whom he has stolen the fundamental pictorial practices and the way of observing and reproducing only after having absorbed what the eye sees.
He has always combined this activity with research and the use of different materials such as glass pastes,
resins, stuccos, which he uses for restorations and for particular creations. The first love remains however
the one for colors, broken down, filtered and repeated continuously in the incessant transformation of
light.
He has exhibited since the 90s in numerous group and solo exhibitions in his province and region,
while participating in Italian and international exhibitions and awards.
In recent years he has received several awards:
November 2017: Collective participation “Universes of Art” with the inclusion of five works
in the Catalog of the Publisher “Pages”
November 2018: Pesaro Art and Culture: Collective “Verbumlandiart” delivery of the Certificate of
Great Merit
February 2020: Reception of the “New York City International Award 2020 – RED “
February 2020: Participation by sending a sketch to the public competition for the execution
of the “Palio di Sant’Oliva, organized by the Municipality of Cori (LT)
February 2020: Awarding of the “Critics Award” with receipt of a ceramic plate,
Certificate and Publication of a work in the art periodical “Art Now” and evaluation note from
Art critic Dr. Maria Di Pasquale
June 2020: Receipt of the “Van Gogh Prize 2020”
August 2021: Awarding of the “City of Paris 2021 Award”
