BIOGRAFIA
Roberta Di Gaetano in arte Roberta Tano nasce nel 1963 e vive la sua infanzia a Stornara, un paesino in provincia di Foggia, coltivando sin dalla tenera età l’amore per il disegno, la musica, la poesia e la letteratura. Scrive le prime poesie all’età di dodici anni, e nel contempo inizia lo studio del suo strumento: il pianoforte. Si diploma presso L’Istituto Statale d’arte di Cerignola dove ha avuto modo di accrescere la conoscenza e la passione per l’Arte. Negli stessi anni scopre un’estrema devozione per la pittura astratta che sarà peculiarità principale del suo essere artista. Attualmente vive immersa nell’arte assoluta con il desiderio di riportare sulla tela ciò che i suoi occhi riescono a catturare attraverso la luce: una pittura che non rappresenta la realtà ma che esprime contenuti nella libera composizione di linee, forme e colori. La costante della sua vita resta l’’amore per l’’arte, la ricerca continua dell’approfondimento del senso e dei modi di espressione delle emozioni. L’astrattismo di Roberta Tano è fondamentalmente espressione della sua fantasia, una forza che le permette di svincolarsi dalle norme e dalle convenzioni della società. I quadri così ottenuti risultano essere confusi e indecifrabili; esprimono il senso del caos, che è la rappresentazione di una realtà, forse, più vera di quella proposta dalla razionalità umana. Attualmente l’artista è seguita dalla società ArteItaliaGroup di Roma che cura i suoi diritti.
Ha partecipato a numerose mostre tra cui : La Galleria dell’Associazione Culturale ArteSpazio LA VACCARELLA in pieno centro storico di Roma, Museo della Bussola e del Ducato Marinaro di Amalfi, Torino, Firenze, Messina, Genova…Una parte delle sue opere sono state pubblicate nel libro “L’ARTE MODERNA” dall’astrattismo al neo-figurativo – collana – Storia dell’arte.

Roberta Di Gaetano in art Roberta Tano was born in 1963 and lived her childhood in Stornara, a small town in the province of Foggia, cultivating love for drawing, music, poetry and literature from an early age. He wrote his first poems at the age of twelve, and at the same time he began studying his instrument: the piano. He graduated from the Cerignola State Institute of Art where he was able to increase his knowledge and passion for art. In the same years he discovered an extreme devotion to abstract painting that will be the main peculiarity of his being an artist. He currently lives immersed in absolute art with the desire to bring back to the canvas what his eyes can capture through the light: a painting that does not represent reality but that expresses content in the free composition of lines, shapes and colors. The constant of his life remains love for art, the continuous search for a deeper understanding of the meaning and ways of expressing emotions. Roberta Tano’s abstract art is fundamentally an expression of her imagination, a force that allows her to free herself from the norms and conventions of society. The paintings thus obtained are confused and indecipherable; they express the sense of chaos, which is the representation of a reality, perhaps, truer than that proposed by human rationality. Currently the artist is followed by the company ArteItaliaGroup of Rome that takes care of her rights.
He has participated in numerous exhibitions including: The Gallery of the ArteSpazio Cultural Association LA VACCARELLA in the historic center of Rome, Museo della Bussola and the Ducato Marinaro of Amalfi, Turin, Florence, Messina, Genoa … A part of his works have been published in the book “L’ARTE MODERNA” from abstract to neo-figurative – series – History of art.
